Breath for health, technology for breath
Biyovent Intensive Care Type Mechanical Ventilator Devide has been designed and manufactured entirely by national means. Biyovent has been created following a 5-year R&D effort with the endorsement of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Science Industry and Technology, TÜBİTAK and Bilkent University Cyberpark.
The 5-year design, manufacturing and testing process has been concluded with the
joint efforts of engineers from the defense industry and physicians specialized in advanced breathing physiology.
ASELSAN, Arçelik and Biosys came together to give momentum to the manufacturing process.
Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan fully endorsed the project and followed it up on daily basis.
Our engineers said, “Lock us up in a room and don't let us out until we succeed,” and they managed to do so.
The serial manufacturing of the device began in 15 days.
The devices, which are the products of joint efforts of more than 120 engineers, were created with the spirit of national mobilization.
They are much more advanced and cost effective than their equivalents around the world.
