The vaccination team consisting of physicians, nurses, anaesthesia technicians and assistant personnel from the District Health Directorate, is visiting the homes at 69 rural neighbourhoods and 66 districts along the Türkiye-Iran border to administer the vaccines.
Following the difficult journey to the areas where snow thickness reaches 50 centimetres, the teams vaccinate the citizens who are entitled to vaccination.
District Health Director Dr. Ümit Söylemez said they reached the homes of citizens who would be vaccinated against coronavirus by crossing snowy roads and walking on bumpy tracks.
