Minister of Health Koca stated that the second-batch vaccines would be administered to the citizens over the age of 65 and in the second group after the completion of safety tests. He added that the supply planning and vaccination program continued as planned.

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca issued a written statement after a meeting of the Coronavirus Scientific Board, which he chaired via video conference.

Emphasizing that the Covid-19 pandemic continued to be a threat worldwide, Koca said, "Our Scientific Committee, which follows this threat in all its dimensions and ensures that our country survives with the least harm, held a weekly meeting today to discuss developments in the world and in Türkiye, and exchanged ideas about the latest scientific studies on the virus and the disease it causes.
