Brazil ranks as the 3rd country most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

In Brazil, the South American country, the number of people who died due to a new variant of Coronavirus (Covid-19) exceeded 251,000.

According to the data by Health Ministry of Brazil, the Covid-19 related casualties increased to 251,498 in the country, with 1,541 people died in the last 24 hours.

65,998 cases have detected in the last 24 hours in the country and the total number of cases reached 10,390,461, with the number of those who recovered reaching 9,323,696.

Sao Paulo state stands out as the most affected region in Brazil with 2,014,529 cases and 58,873 Covid-19 related casualties.

According to the “Worldometers website, which compiles Covid-19 data, Brazil, with a population exceeding 210 million, ranks as the "3rd country most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic".
