Offering the foods such as pizza and kenafeh for its citizens to encourage a new variant of Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine, Israel does not want to provide the vaccine to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which it has blockaded for many years with the occupied West Bank.

Israel is the most vaccinated country in the world compared to the population, while almost all Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza under the yoke of occupation and blockade have not yet reached the vaccine.

According to the data by the Health Ministry of Isreal, in the country with a population of approximately 9.3 million, the first dose of the vaccine was provided to 4,598,197 people and the second dose of the vaccine to 3,209,993 people.

On the other hand, only 32 thousand vaccines, including those sent by Israel, reached the West Bank and Gaza Strip, which has a population of about 5,200,000.

Israel has promised 5 thousand doses of vaccine for the vaccination of health professionals in the West Bank, and so far has delivered 2 thousand to the Palestinian Authority.
