The number of people who lost their lives in the new variant of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in the USA has increased by 2,153 in the last 24 hours to 510,467.

According to Johns Hopkins University records, which compiled data on the new variant of Corona virus (Covid-19), the number of cases confirmed with the virus in the USA increased by 72,983 to 28,487,119 in the last 24 hours.

The number of people who have died due to the outbreak increased by 2,153 and reached 510,467.

Highest number of cases and deaths in California
According to Johns Hopkins, California ranks first in the country with more than 3,559,000 cases, followed by Texas with more than 2,643,000 and Florida with more than 1,898,000 cases.

Followed by New York with 47,389 and Texas with 43,376; the state of California is also leading with the loss of 51,794 lives due to Covid-19 across the US.

The United States, ranking first in the world in the number of cases and deaths due to pandemic, is followed by India with more than 11,080,000 and Brazil with more than 10,455,000 cases. The number of deaths from Covid-19 is over 156,000 in India and over 252,000 in Brazil.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which tracks Covid-19 vaccination statistics in the USA, announced that the total number of vaccines administered nationwide has exceeded 70,454,000.

According to the updated data by CDC, more than 47,184,000 people in the country received the first dose and more than 22,613,000 received the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
