In Mexico, the country most affected by the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic after Brazil, the number of deaths due to the virus has exceeded 200 thousand.

Mexico thus became the third country in the world, after the USA and Brazil, with more than 200 thousand deaths from Covid-19.

The number of people recovering in the country increased to 1 million 752 thousand 125.

Mexico, with a population of more than 126 million, is the 13th country in the world with the highest number of cases, according to the "Worldometers" website, where Covid-19 data are compiled.
