The number of deaths related to new type coronavirus (Covid-19) cases and the virus continues to grow in Latin American countries.

In the last 24 hours, 1656 people in Brazil, 194 people in Mexico, 81 people in Argentina, 165 people in Colombia, 231 people in Peru, 101 people in Chile, 59 people in Ecuador, 21 Bolivia and 60 people in Paraguay lost their lives because of the outbreak.

According to the data of the Brazilian Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours with 1656 people died, the number of deaths reached 312,206 and with the 44,326 new cases reported, the total number of cases reached 12,534,688.

The trade center of Brazil, Sao Paulo state stands out as the "the region of the country most affected by the outbreak" with 2,420,100 cases and 71,991 deaths.

In Brazil, the country most affected by the outbreak after the USA, the number of people who recovered reached 10,912,941.
