In Kırklareli, the number one in fighting novel coronavirus (Covid-19) with 79% second dose of vaccination, people show great interest to vaccination campaigns.

According to the data of Ministry of Health, the first dose vaccination average is 87.06% and second dose vaccination average is 72.54% in Turkey.

According to this, the province with the highest vaccination rate is Kırklareli with 79%. Following it comes Muğla with 78.7% and Ordu with 78.5%.

In the city with a high vaccination rate, vaccination campaigns are ongoing in Kırklareli Training and Research Hospital and family practices.

Kırklareli Health Director Çiğdem Cerit told the AA reporter that they are still serving as an example to Turkey about vaccination campaigns.

Thanking the citizens who show great interest in vaccination campaigns, Cerit said that she is very proud for being in the leading position when it comes to vaccination.

Stating that they wanted to keep their position, Cerit said "Our healthcare professionals are working non-stop to protect our citizens from the pandemic. Our citizen see the work of our healthcare professionals and contribute to the campaigns done to the utmost. We will continue our battle to ensure that not a single citizen included in the vaccination calendar is left without vaccination."
