In Madrid, where the pandemic was the most intense among European capitals, 583,000 cases and 13,793 casualties have been detected so far.
While the first death due to Covid-19 was detected in Valencia on 18 February in Spain, the highest number of cases and casualties so far have been reported in Madrid among the 17 autonomous administrations in the country.
The officials of Isabel Zendal Hospital, built in Madrid in a period of 5 months, opened on 11 December and accepting only Covid-19 patients, informed the AA reporter about their work.
It has been reported that there is a special ventilation system to clean all the air in the hospital 14 times an hour, and there are currently 228 patients, 32 of which are in intensive care, in the hospital having a total capacity of 1000 beds, 140 of which are in intensive care.
After Russia, UK and France in Europe, Spain is the 4th country where Covid-19 is most common with a total of 3,170,644 cases and 68,468 people have died.
